Hillary Clinton Opposes Bush Plan to Protect Pro-Life Doctors Senator Hillary Clinton says she will try to stop a new proposal from the Bush administration that would protect pro-life doctors, nurses and other medical professionals from having to participate in abortions. The Bush plan also protects medical facilities that don't want to do abortions. The idea is to require hospitals and other medical facilities that receive federal funding to guarantee that they will not refuse to hire medical staff who refuse to participate in abortions. But Clinton has said no to the idea and called it a "gratuitous, unnecessary insult" to women. Click here to read more.
Now she's told WND she hopes the taped responses of Planned Parenthood officials in seven states reveal to her local UCLA community and the nation the racist leanings of the organization.
WND calls to Planned Parenthood of Idaho, which was featured in The Advocate report, requesting a comment were not returned.
"Students on campus are shocked and saddened that such a huge organization would have racist leanings in the present day," Rose told WND. "They are surprised to hear the truth about [Planned Parenthood founder] Margaret Sanger, and how the African-American community is being hurt by abortion."There's a lot of surprise out there. Planned Parenthood does an excellent job of covering up the facts," she said.
Sanger supported eugenics to cull those she considered unfit from the population. In 1921, she said eugenics is "the most adequate and thorough avenue to the solution of racial, political and social problems."
At one point, Sanger lamented "the ever increasing, unceasingly spawning class of human beings who never should have been born at all." Another time, Sanger wrote, "We do not want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population."
According to Bryan Fisher, executive director of Idaho Values Alliance, Planned Parenthood, which gets an estimated $200 million annually from U.S. taxpayers, has located nearly 80 percent of its clinics nationwide in minority neighborhoods, and about one-third of all abortions are performed on blacks, even though they make up only 13 percent of the population.
Abortion Practitioner Tells Michigan Medical Students He Has "License to Lie" - (Watch 2 minute excerpt above)
A video of an abortion practitioner is making its way across the Internet featuring a November appearance by Alberto Hodari at Wayne State University in Michigan. The campus pro-abortion organization invited him to speak and Hodari tells them his status as an abortion practitioner gives him license to lie to women.
Hodari also spoke about how little he washed between abortions because it chafed his hands, even though his doing so puts women's health at risk. "To hear Hodari speak, one wonders if Michigan is the third world," Hawkins says in a statement she provided LifeNews.com.
"Planned Parenthood complains about 'back-alley' abortions, even though Hodari is running a business where he's barely washing his hands between abortions."
Most upsetting to SFLA director Kristan Hawkins is Hodari's claim that being an abortion practitioner gives him "license to lie" to women who seek him out for abortions.
Ashley Tyndall, the president of the pro-life student group, noted that Hodari is responsible for multiple women's deaths from his legal abortions. Click here to read more.

Another Movie Presses "Pro-Life" Theme as Comedy Juno Touts Adoption
Another movie with a "pro-life" theme is hitting theaters starting this weekend -- as the indie comedy "Juno" could delight pro-life advocates with its promotion of adoption over abortion. The movie follows Bella, which has touched the heart of millions with its beautiful presentation of appreciating human life.
Jason Reitman, known for his 2006 debut, ''Thank You for Smoking" sits in the director chair for Juno, a light comedy with a PG-13 rating. Screenwriter Diablo Cody pens the script for the film.
Juno appears to be somewhere in-between Bella, which pro-life advocates found appropriate for families, and "Knocked Up," a raunchy comedy that had a mild pro-life theme but language and situations inappropriate for children. Click here to learn more.

We're Proud of our "D"
The state of Georgia has again been given a bad grade from the National Abortion Rights Action League. NARAL releases a periodic report which analyzes state legislation and grades each state based on how their laws restrict or don't restrict abortion. States with limited pro-life laws receive high grades while states with a lot of pro-life laws usually fail. Georgia Right to Life is proud to be given a "D" from NARAL because of our recent pro-life laws. These laws have helped decrease the number of abortions performed in Georgia by 39% since 1990 (based on population growth) and have helped mothers and children. We're working toward getting an "F"!Click here for more abortion stats.
