OUR MISSION

The fundamental purpose of Georgia Right to Life is to engage in actions that will restore respect and effective legal protection for all human beings from earliest biological beginnings until natural death. GRTL Interns are an integral key to fulfilling this mission at Georgia Right to Life. 

Does this mission excite you? Are you a passionate young adult, 17 to 25 years old, looking to intern at a principled pro-life, pro-personhood organization?  

Then, you might be the person Georgia Right to Life is looking for. Georgia Right to Life hires interns in the fields of graphic design, administration, copywriting, journalism, communications, political science, and other majors/fields.  

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (Including but not limited to):

  • Assist the Executive Director in any assigned tasks. 
  • Write article/blog posts for the website to inspire others and equip them in the fight for personhood. 
  • Research personhood issues and table at any events during your internship period. 
  • Other administrative and office-related tasks. 
  • Participate in all required GRTL staff meetings and offer input where appropriate.  
  • Other tasks that are consistent with your major/studies! 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 17 to 25 years old
  • Transportation to and from work
  • Administrative skills
  • Quick learner
  • Proven interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Persuasive in debate, self-controlled when confronted
  • Effective evangelistic witness
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Proficient in use of the internet: email, websites, and video conferencing
  • Working knowledge of PowerPoint and PDF

Core Knowledge CORE KNOWLEDGE

  • Clear articulation of Christian worldview
  • Exposition of Biblical ethics and Personhood
  • Must Agree with GRTL’s Statement of Faith and Code of Conduct

COMMITMENT

A GRTL Intern must be solidly committed to the pro-personhood philosophy of GRTL, with a willingness to maintain current education on the issues of abortion, infanticide, euthanasia, stem cell research, emerging technology, bioethics, and other pro-life matters.  Evening and weekend work may be required. Pay and hours will be discussed with the organization, depending on the abilities and qualifications of the potential intern.
