A Biblical Approach to
Healthcare & Medical Ethics
Almost every issue that we face regarding the sanctity of life has some component linked to healthcare. Whether it is abortion coverage in mandated healthcare plans, the medical “right” to end the life of another, or medical experimentation on preborn persons, we must educate ourselves to better understand and defend human life in the realm of health care and medical ethics.
Personhood is the principle that all human life has God-given, constitutionally-recognized value.
GRTL’s promotion of Personhood includes informing our supporters on ways to uphold and maintain the protection of human lives, including times when your constitutional rights are being infringed. Failure to do so would be irresponsible and a violation of our mission.
Questions to Ask
Assisted Suicide: Is MAID the Answer?
Assisted suicide and euthanasia is a confusing subject. However, this subject will greatly affect future generations as we continue the slide down the slippery slope. Please carefully consider all factors before making a judgment. We have compiled a list of questions that many have asked on this subject and our answers address these provocative questions.
We are now being conditioned to believe that it is compassionate for a medical doctor to kill a less than “perfect” human."
But, when any group of people decide who lives and who dies, based on age, infirmity or mental capacity, the weak and “undesirable” become targets of the strong. This is not how we are called to love our neighbor.

Pillars of Personhood Program
Georgia Right to Life can bring The Pillars of Personhood project to your community, school, or church group. The two-part, scripturally-based program will equip people to engage others in meaningful, thoughtful dialog on sanctity of life issues. Part one is a 5-hour classroom training, and part two (if possible) is an outreach to a local college campus. The objective is to prayerfully move others to better understand life issues, so that they positively impact the lives of those around them.
For information on upcoming Pillars of Personhood events, or to schedule an event, please contact us at stateoffice@grtl.org or call 770-339-6880.
The Real Question
What is the Value of a Human Life
The question is no longer ‘when does life begin’. In our time of science and technology, that question has already been answered—life begins at conception. The better question today may not be when human life begins, but rather: what is the value of a human life?
If an unborn child is a person, then their right to life trumps any other person’s right to choose their death. The exploitation of preborn children in the name of “science and medicine” is reprehensible and must be stopped.
