A Personhood Amendment to the Georgia Constitution accomplishes this objective. It is very important that the pro-life community know exactly what Georgia Right to Life is doing to protect pre-born children and all innocent human life.

Georgia Prenatal Equal Protection Act (HB-441)
The Georgia Prenatal Equal Protection Act would provide equal protection and equal justice to children in the womb, with no exceptions. The same laws that currently exist to protect all people from murder would extend to protect the preborn from murder.

The Federal Abortion Funding Ban
The Federal Abortion Funding Ban is a federal ban on funding for abortions in the District of Columbia or under the Affordable Care Act. HR 7, authored by Rep. Christopher Smith, contains dangerous exceptions that allow federal funds to be spent on murdering babies if they are conceived in rape.
Sanctity of Human Life Act
The Sanctity of Human Life Act was introduced in 2015 by Georgia Congressman Jody Hice. This bill declares that: (1) the right to life guaranteed by the Constitution is vested in each human and is the person’s paramount and most fundamental right; (2) each human life begins with fertilization, cloning, or its functional equivalent, at which time every human has all legal and constitutional attributes and privileges of personhood; and (3) Congress, each state, the District of Columbia, and all U.S. territories have the authority to protect all human lives.
HR 426 is a pro-personhood piece of legislation that contains no dangerous exceptions language.
Fetal Pain Bill - 2015
The Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, or Fetal Pain Bill, is a federal ban on abortion after 20 weeks when medical science shows a baby can experience pain in the womb. HR 36, reintroduced by Rep. Trent Franks, contains dangerous exceptions that allow babies conceived via rape or incest to be murdered despite the ability to feel pain.
