Redeeming Hope: LIFE Through Christ

What a great time GRTL had on August 9^th, 2024 at our Redeeming Hope: LIFE Through Christ dessert reception at the Venue at Friendship Springs!

We heard beautiful worship music and a riveting prayer from ShonNeeka Wright and Dr. Randy Wood, were encouraged by the work of Athens area chapter leader Mike Morris, and were inspired by Lesah Hoffmann, our Oratory Contest winner, who exposed the genocidal history behind Planned Parenthood and Margaret Sanger.

In addition, we were so grateful to be convicted by the speeches of Carminthia Moore and April Chapman. These bold, Christ-centered women pointed us to the Scriptures as they shared how Satan has always been after the “seed of the woman” (Genesis 3:15) and pointed us to the root cause of abortion: the depravity of the human heart. April encouraged us to remember that our pro-life advocacy must be rooted in the gospel of Christ and Him crucified. Without that, our efforts are built on shifting sand.
