2023 Georgia March For Life & Memorial Service & Rally, Liberty Plaza, Atlanta
Attend the Jan. 20, 2023 Georgia March For Life & Memorial Service & Rally at Atlanta’s Liberty Plaza across from the GA State Capitol
Pro-personhood advocates from across the Southeast will gather at 12 noon (EST) at Liberty Plaza on Friday, January 20, 2023 to mourn the more than 63 million children denied the chance at life, and to pray for the women and men whose lives have been damaged by abortion. Families, friends, whole communities have been hurt by abortion – join us as we gather to pray for an end to the terrible scourge of abortion.
REGISTER FOR THE MARCH
“The blood-stained statistics on abortion remain horrific,” said Georgia Right to Life (GRTL) President Ricardo Davis. “But we need to look past the numbers and see the humanity of each person affected by this tragedy. They are our family members, co-workers, fellow students and church members. Whether abortion is forced on a helpless victim as we see in human trafficking, or occurs for another reason, abortion is an evil that has this nation in a death grip that must be broken. The blood of these innocent precious children cries out for justice. I ask all pro-life supporters to join GRTL at the 2023 Georgia March for Life, in recommitting to the cause of Personhood–protecting those who can’t protect themselves.”
The Annual Memorial Service
Gather at Liberty Plaza at 12 noon (EST) for a memorial service that includes a keynote address by Daphne Harris Nicely, Executive Director of Atlanta Morning Center, a ministry launched by Samaritan Ministries International in 2011 out of love for mothers and their newborns. The Morning Center provides prenatal through postpartum care to moms in need at no charge. Daphne Harris Nicely left a promising career in corporate America in March of 2007 for full time missions and ministry service. After volunteering with Atlanta Pregnancy Resource Center, Inc (APRC) in 2007, she became the Executive Director in 2013 and served in that capacity until 2017. Recognized by the Atlanta Tribune: The Magazine as a 2015 Superwoman for her contribution and service to the community, Daphne was also a recipient of the Warrior for Life medal awarded by The Restoration Project in January 2019 and received the Trailblazer Award from the Douglass Leadership Institute in February 2022. A true champion for life, Daphne is passionate and committed to the sanctity of all life created in the image of God and personhood.
The Georgia March For Life
After the memorial service at 12:55 PM, thousands of pro-life Georgians will join in a one-mile silent march against the tragic loss of life since Roe v. Wade at the 2023 Georgia March for Life.
The Georgians Ending Abortion Rally
An added feature to the 2023 GA March for Life is the Rally that will take place at approximately 1:40 p.m. back in Liberty Plaza, following the silent march. Plan to re-join us for a call to action rally featuring Jay Andrews, the Executive Director of BLEXIT Georgia and others as we stand for life and let our state leaders know that we seek to end abortion in the state of Georgia. In contrast to the silent march, this will be a time to make our voices heard!
In the days and weeks ahead, please make plans to join us at the 2023 Georgia March for Life. Be counted and REGISTER as one of thousands who cares enough to join others to silently pray and walk through the streets of Atlanta as we remember the millions of pre-born babies lost to abortion.
RAIN OR SHINE EVENT: The Georgia March For Life is a rain or shine event, there will be no cancellation due to inclement weather.
