July 2019 – Article 1:
The gulf between those who value the sanctity of human life and those who don’t is growing so wide and deep it may never be bridged.
Women brag about murdering their child, born-alive babies are left unattended to die, the elderly are discarded; and at the same time anyone speaking up for the victims are mocked and persecuted.
It’s tearing the country apart in a way that threatens to plunge us further into an irreversible culture of death.
This is not a message of defeat. It’s a call to action.
If this gulf over the sanctity of life is not confronted head on at the grassroots level, the pro-life movement may be permanently marginalized—leaving a society totally incapable of understanding and protecting what it means to be a people who honor the right to God-given Personhood.
We’ve gone from hiding behind “safe, legal and rare” to proudly legalizing infanticide. Anyone with even an ounce of compassion should be brought to their knees.
God help us.
Businesses Cashing In on Social Issues
Joining the headlong rush to complete depravity is a growing list of businesses that are throwing their weight behind the slaughter of innocent children.
It started with the threat by Hollywood entertainment companies to abandon filming in Georgia over the flawed heartbeat bill scheduled to go into effect on January 1, 2020.
Georgia Right to Life (GRTL) received widespread media coverage of its announcement that it is supporting a nationwide campaign—organized by Personhood Alliance—to dump Netflix, which spearheaded the threat to leave the state.
The stakes got much higher last month when Twitter/Square CEO Jack Dorsey and more than 180 other CEO’s—organized in part by Planned Parenthood—ran a full-page ad in the The New York Times to condemn recently passed and enacted abortion laws.
In the ad, the CEOs brazenly state such laws go “against our values”, and without producing any evidence claim they are “bad for business.”
All of this is happening as social media sites such as Pinterest continue to censor Christian and pro-life organizations.
While it didn’t take long for corporations to jump on the bandwagon and support causes like the LGBTQ agenda, they were reluctant to touch abortion—long considered the “third rail” of social issues.
“It’s time for companies to stand up for reproductive health care,” the ad asserted. Restricting abortion threatens “the health, independence, and economic stability of our employees and customers.”
But lurking behind the façade of promoting healthcare is the harsh reality of the almighty dollar.
“The fact is, when companies decide to speak out on social issues, there is almost always a business rationale for doing so,” wrote Amy Everitt, Vice President of Special Projects for NARAL Pro-Choice America, said in Buzz Feed News.
So, at the end of the day it’s not about doing what’s right. It’s all about the money.
“Like a deadly infectious disease, the utter moral depravity of Hollywood is spreading to other parts of the business community,” lamented GRTL president Ricardo Davis. “This sad fact should motivate all pro-life supporters to get more involved in this struggle.”
