Stand Up and Be Counted

December 2018 – Article 2:

ALL PRO-LIFE SUPPORTERS are encouraged to REGISTER HERE and to plan ahead to attend the 2019 Georgia March for Life and Memorial Service on Tuesday, January 22 at Atlanta’s Liberty Plaza, across from the State Capitol. The ‘Georgia March for Life and Memorial Service’ is hosted by Georgia Right to Life (GRTL).

Since 1999 KEYNOTE SPEAKER KIPPER TABB has provided leadership at Perimeter Church as Pastor for Celebrate Recovery, Marriage, and Prayer. He is also Parish Pastor to over 800 of the more than 4600 members at Perimeter.

In the early ‘90s, he provided videography services for fellow church member, Karen Black, who sought to help women choose life prior to entering abortion mills. The videos protected Karen from the false accusation of blocking access to the mills.

Kipper has dedicated the last quarter of his life to bring God’s people to recognize His image in ALL persons – from conception till their natural death – as God designed it to be.

Christian Radio host, author, Grammy-nominated vocal artist, musician, political and business consultant, and widowed mother of one amazing daughter, Atlanta’s own WSB Radio personality, Monica Matthews, is the emcee for the event.

“The blood-stained statistics on abortion remain horrific,” said Georgia Right to Life (GRTL) President Ricardo Davis. “But we need to look past the numbers and see the humanity of each person affected by this tragedy. They’re family members, co-workers, fellow students and church members.”

The event is intended to express sorrow for the more than 60 million children denied the chance at life, as well as for the women and men who have had their lives damaged by abortion. Families, friends, and entire communities have been affected by the scourge of abortion.

Whether abortion is forced on a helpless victim as occurs in human trafficking, or occurs for another reason, abortion is an evil that has this nation in a death grip that must be broken.

“The blood of those innocent precious children cries out for justice,” Davis said. “I ask all pro-life supporters to join GRTL at the Georgia March for Life, in recommitting to the cause of Personhood–protecting those who can’t protect themselves. Together we can advance Personhood in Georgia through more prayer and teaching on the sanctity of life in our churches; more education in our communities; and more discernment in selecting our representatives in the legislature, law enforcement, and in the courts. We must be united in our message to lawmakers and jurists that we will no longer tolerate abortion on demand in Georgia.”

The Annual Memorial Service

Each year hundreds of pro-life supporters gather at Liberty Plaza for a memorial service beginning at 11:00 that includes prayer, praise music, pro-life testimony, and is followed by the keynote address.

The Georgia March For Life

After the memorial service pro-life Georgians join in a one-mile silent march to memorialize the tragic death of over 60,000,000 innocent babies since the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court Decision. The Silent March for Life begins at 1:00 pm.

As you make plans to attend, please share this information and link with people you know, gather friends and family members to join you on Tuesday, January 22 at the 2019 Georgia March for Life. Be counted as one who cares enough to join others to silently pray and walk through the streets of Atlanta as we remember the tens of millions of pre-born babies lost to abortion.

Family Friendly Event
