Lenoris Daniels: Proclaiming the Gospel in Houston County

Proclaiming Truth In Love

Now is the time for you and me to “be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong and to do everything in love” (1 Corinthians 16:13-14).

Born to a single mother of six children amidst an adulterous relationship, I am no stranger to challenges prevalent in families today, especially the African American community.

Exhausted from working full time as a certified nursing assistant and the dauntless demands of parenting, my mother lovingly chose to birth me and later placed me in the care of my father’s wife. Unbeknownst to my parents, this “informal adoption” served as “God’s chemical laboratory of redemption.”

Compelled by God’s undeserved, saving grace and personal experience (the good and bad), I now boldly proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ and am a staunch advocate for not only saving the life of the unborn but also ministering to the family unit!

Getting Involved with Georgia Right to Life

While attending college, I was introduced to the ministry of Georgia Right to Life and became a chapter leader for Wilcox County years later. After getting married to my beautiful bride, Jessica, I moved to Houston County, GA, where I have been serving as President of the local Georgia Right to Life Chapter since July 1st of this year.

Upon assuming the responsibility as the President of the Houston County Chapter of Georgia Right to Life, my heart overflowed with gratitude to God, my very supportive wife and family, and the executive committee for entrusting me with such an awesome opportunity to minister to the residents of Houston County and beyond.

Some of the earthly rewards of my labor as a chapter leader include the birth of Braylen Sea; the 229-diaper drive; the birth of my niece and nephew; several stands for life and pro-life bridges events; and publicly praying against and protesting the opening of an abortion clinic in Macon, GA. Naming just a few of the earthly rewards demonstrate how blessings outweigh the challenges of recruiting and retaining volunteers, securing local funding, and developing healthy relationships with local churches and pastors.

Real Life Church Presentation

On the evening of July 6th, 2025, I had the privilege of ministering to a group of about 15 men at Real Life Church in Macon, Georgia in regards to the mission, vision, and efforts of Georgia Right of Life to advance personhood. I discussed why it’s necessary and a more effective witness for men to live their lives according to the Word of God. I also encouraged them to get involved in the fight to advance personhood in the State of Georgia.

During my presentation, I surveyed the room, noting that some clearly supported the legalization of abortion and some did not. These men were direct, attentive, and inquisitive throughout the entire meeting. After much discussion, sharing Scripture, statistics, facts and even an amazing story of God’s grace from one of the men, a gentleman was visibly wrestling with what was being shared and did not shake my hand upon my departure.

However, the following day, Brother John Manning shared with me that the same gentleman called him to share the work that Lord had done in his heart during his time of prayer and Scripture reading which led him to share with several of the women employed by his business. The moments shared with these men in the presence of God will forever be etched in the forefront of my mind as I pursue encouraging anyone, especially men, to proclaim the Word of God in love despite the lies rampantly spread by the kingdom of darkness.

Central Georgia GOP Fish Fry

The Central GA GOP Fish Fry is an event that we usually attend which gives us an opportunity to have fruitful conversations with those in attendance. This annual event was well attended and well organized by the War Town Young Republicans and James Spornhauer amongst several others. Brother Kody Morrison was so kind to volunteer his time to man the booth with me and engage with those in attendance that came by to view our display.

Both Kody and I were delighted to have so many conversations with people that were not only grateful for the work of Georgia Right to Life but also demonstrated interest in joining the chapter. This event gave me an opportunity to briefly speak with some current and future legislators in person.

Between our intentional conversations, we managed to collect about 20 signatures for our Personhood Amendment Petition along with a few photos. A highlight of the event was a surprise visit from three college students that engaged in dialogue and expressed interest in joining our local chapter, not to mention the delicious lunch that was served.

All of Life Summit

Pastor Lewis Kiger, who also serves on our executive committee, joined me at Georgia Right to Life’s All of Life Summit/R.E.A.C.H. benefit this past October hosted at the Cobb Energy Centre. The summit was created to be a time reserved for personhood advocates to have opportunities for fellowship, networking, worship, learning, inspiration, equipping and encouragement which are all vital to advance personhood in the State of Georgia and beyond. I certainly look forward to my family and I being present next year and would strongly encourage you to invite some friends to join us!

Looking Ahead

In the upcoming year, I plan and desire to develop a stronger presence in our local community through hosting monthly meetings, partnering with local churches and pastors, organizing ongoing membership drives, creating quarterly newsletters, and hosting and volunteering at more local community events. I invite you to let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven (Matthew 5:16).

Yours in Christ,

Lenoris Daniels
