With each new variant, it’s clear that COVID is not going away any time soon. Coupled with scare tactics and government overreach, it’s crucial that pro-life supporters equip themselves with accurate facts.
The following report, based on information available at the time of this writing, addresses a number of new and ongoing issues concerning the virus.
Natural Immunity Beats Vaccines
An Israeli study found that people who developed natural immunity after contracting COVID were 13 times less likely to get the Delta variant than people who had been vaccinated.
The study ultimately concluded that “natural immunity confers longer lasting and stronger protection against infection, symptomatic disease and hospitalization caused by the Delta variant” compared to those who had two doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.
A similar view was expressed by Dr. Aaron Kheriaty, Director of Medical Ethics at the University of California-Irvine Health.
“Natural immunity is the gold standard. It does not wane over time and is effective against new variants,” he told The Epoch Times.
Dr. Kheriaty, and others, warn that no one should deliberately try to contract COVID in order to obtain natural immunity because the virus has proven it can be deadly.
Vaccines Remain Potentially Dangerous and Unethical
Even though the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) claims the vaccines are safe and effective, it says it has received 10,688 reports of deaths linked to taking the vaccine from December 14, 2020 through December 20, 2021.
In addition, the agency said it has reports of vaccinated people experiencing:
- Anaphylaxis, a severe type of allergic reaction.
- Thrombosis with Thrombocytopenia Syndrome (TTS), which involves blood clots and low platelets.
- Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS), which damages nerve cells causing muscle weakness, sometimes resulting in paralysis.
- Myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle) and pericarditis (inflammation of the thin membrane around the heart). The CDC has confirmed more than 1,000 such cases.
Stephanie Seneff, Ph.D., senior research scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, asserts that the mRNA vaccines are “extremely toxic” and are a “completely not-natural system,” warning people “don’t go near it.”
Adding more fuel to concerns about the safety of these vaccines is that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently asked a federal judge to give it 75 years—until 2096—to release data related to the Pfizer vaccine, up 20 years from its previous request.
Georgia Right to Life (GRTL) also reminds its readers that all three vaccines currently available in the United States have some link to abortion.
The Johnson and Johnson (Janssen) vaccine used abortion derived fetal cell lines in every phase of its vaccine creation. According to their “Factsheet for Healthcare Providers” on page 25, “each dose may contain residual amounts of host cell proteins, and/or host cell DNA” that was obtained from the retina of a perfectly healthy baby girl aborted in 1985.
The Moderna and Pfizer vaccines used abortion derived cell lines from the kidney of a child aborted in the 1970s in their confirmatory testing.
A Pfizer whistleblower claims the company deliberately tried to hide the fact that their vaccine is linked to abortion.
Using such methods to create these vaccines sends the message that mutilating aborted children, often when they are still alive, to advance science is acceptable. It is not.
“Ignoring how vaccines are developed only promotes the idea that treating pre-born children as a commodity to be exploited must not be tolerated,” explained GRTL President Ricardo Davis. “It denies their Personhood.”
Government Confusion, Overreach, Tyranny and Just Plain Craziness
Rahm Emanuel’s infamous quote, “Never let a serious crisis go to waste” has prompted politicians and power hungry officials to use the pandemic to grab as much control over our lives as possible. Many of the restrictions and mandates are unconstitutional, as well as confusing.
Imposing lockdowns is wreaking havoc in all our lives. The Biden Administration is forcing companies with more than 100 employees to mandate the vaccine. The military is discharging anyone who refuses to take the shot. There’s been flip flopping on whether masks provide protection, and outlandishly they’ve suggested that we should ask family members if they’ve been vaccinated before inviting them into our homes.
Showing a total disregard for science and its own recommendation, the FDA this week bowed to pressure from Biden and approved Pfizer’s vaccine booster for 12- to 15-year-olds.
The Supreme Court will conduct a special hearing on January 7 to assess the legality of Biden’s mandates.
Head spinning? Stay tuned. Recent events demonstrate that this whole pandemic debacle is getting worse almost daily as governments around the world impose new requirements in an effort to control peoples’ lives.
Before leaving office this month, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio issued a new round of COVID mandates. As of December 14, children aged 5-11 need to show proof of at least one vaccination dose to enter a variety of public facilities, such as indoor restaurants, as well as fitness, entertainment, and performance centers.
Also starting on December 14, children 5-11 are now required to be vaccinated in order to take part in “high risk extracurricular activities, such as sports, or playing in a band or orchestra.
Starting December 27, New Yorkers aged 12 and older are required to show proof of two shots, except for those who received the one-dose Johnson and Johnson vaccine.
In an extreme abuse of power, the mayor also announced what he proudly called a “first-in-the-nation” vaccine mandate for private sector workers which applies to approximately 184 businesses. The mandate went into effect on December 27.
Broadway also became a victim of the panic as several of the most popular plays closed for Christmas week, their busiest time of the year.
In another case of government overreach, the U.S. Senate is considering a bill that would create government vaccination data bases. Titled the Immunization Infrastructure Modernization Act (HR 550), the information would be used to “remind patients when they are due for a recommended vaccine and identify areas with low vaccination rates,” according to the bill’s author, Congresswoman Annie Kuster of New Hampshire.
“This bill has everything to do with mandates and digital health passes,” according to Stand for Health Freedom.
Congresswoman Mary Miller of Illinois was quoted saying, “This bill would allow the government to collect, study, and share your private health data. There are endless ways the government could potentially use that information against you.”
In a chilling Christmas gift to Americans, the Biden administration has predicted a “winter of death” for the unvaccinated.
There’s also bad news in Australia which has imposed highly restrictive lockdowns and mandates throughout the pandemic including establishing “COVID quarantine compounds” that detain people entering the country.
Three people held at one compound near Darwin escaped last December in the middle of the night. The three, who all tested negative the day before the breakout, were tracked down and arrested.
In Israel, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett compared not getting vaccinated against COVID to someone spraying machine gun fire at innocent people.
Also in Israel, unvaccinated people, including children, are required to take a test that shows negative in order to obtain a “Green Pass,” a certificate that grants access to public venues and large gatherings.
Foreshadowing the mark of the beast, an increasing number of people in Sweden are having microchips containing their COVID vaccination records placed in their hands, arms, or chest.
Finally, a law that goes into effect on February 1 in Austria says unvaccinated people, including children as young as 14, can be fined up to 2,000 euros each time they are caught. Anyone who refuses to pay can be sent to a special prison for up to one year.
And unlike regular prisoners, these individuals will have to pay the cost of their prison cell and food.
Some Encouraging News
On Thanksgiving weekend, Sun Ng, a 71-year-old man who spent 22 days on a ventilator, was discharged from Edward Hospital in Naperville, Illinois following a successful treatment cycle of ivermectin.
In spite of being portrayed as a “horse de-wormer,” a real-time meta analysis of numerous studies shows that the widely-used generic drug has virtually no risk of serious side effects and can be effective against COVID when given at the correct dosage.
An elderly, critically-ill COVID patient who was repeatedly denied ivermectin has made a full recovery after a court ordered the hospital to treat him with the life-saving drug.
A Maine woman on a ventilator for 60 days with COVID was scheduled to be taken off life support when she suddenly woke up.
Andrew Lerman said his mother, Bettina Lerman, 69, tested positive for the virus last September. She fell into a coma for more than a month and her doctors were convinced she was not going to make it.
After she awoke, his mother said she could remember having visitors in the room but could not respond. Lerman said his mother is not out of the woods yet but is able to breathe on her own with some oxygen support.
What to Think
The above is just the tip of the iceberg of all the scare tactics, attacks on our constitutional rights, and misinformation that we’ve been bombarded with over the past two years.
All of this would have been unthinkable just a few years ago, and there’s every indication that COVID and its variants are here to stay.
As Christians we should not join in the hysteria or succumb to the shameless fear mongering spread by politicians and the media. Our hope is in Jesus Christ, who promises to never leave or forsake us.
We need to seek God’s wisdom to stay informed with credible information about the virus and treatments.
