It’s all done in the name of “science.” The so-called noble quest to heal the sick and improve the quality of life.
Tragically, embryo and stem cell experimentation are done in secret as much as possible, and for good reason. Proponents know that if people could see babies born alive being cut open to harvest their organs while their hearts are still beating there would be public outrage.
The following is an update on various aspects of this total disregard for the Personhood of pre-born children.
Scientist Organization Opens Floodgates to Allow Unthinkable Embryo Experiments
The International Society for Stem Cell Research (ISSCR) has issued new guidelines for stem cell experimentation that will ensure further disrespect for the sanctity of human life.
One change eliminates the “14-day” rule which has limited experimenting on human embryos created in a laboratory to two weeks.
Instead of banning the unethical practice altogether, the group appears to have left the door open to no limitations.
Noting that the guidelines have no clear stopping point, Hank Greely, a Stanford University bioethicist, said, “If you don’t have any endpoint, could you take the embryos to 20 weeks? To 24 weeks? Is viability the only endpoint?”
Greely concluded, “Is viability even an endpoint?”
Another change allows creating human-animal embryos (chimeras). They are made by injecting human stem cells into animal embryos.
The ultimate goal is to grow human hearts, livers, and kidneys in pigs or cows for human transplants. One concern is that the stem cells could end up in other parts of the animals’ bodies, such as their brains.
Sounding an alarm, even Insoo Hyun, a bioethicist at Harvard and Case Western Reserve Universities who helped write the guidelines, said, “Nobody wants a chimeric embryo to grow into a part-human, part-animal thing that has human cells from head to toe mixed in.”
Allowing the creation of three-parent embryos for so-called medical research is another proposed change in the guidelines. The process involves creating a human embryo which contains the DNA from the intended mother and father, plus a female donor.
Congress has banned the practice since 2015.
Biden Lifts Bans on Public Funding for Unethical Stem Cell Experimentation
The announcement, which reverses bans put in place by the Trump Administration, involve two major areas of concern for those who value the sanctity of human life.
At the top of this list is President Biden’s 2122 proposed budget that eliminates the long-standing Hyde Amendment that has prohibited public funding for most abortions through federal programs, such as Medicaid since 1980.
Aside from forcing pro-life advocates to fund abortions, the result will be an increased supply of aborted children for diabolical experimentation.
Another action restores the ability of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to resume public funding of experiments conducted by the agency itself. Taxpayers will now pay for the agency to purchase and mutilate aborted children.
A third change reinstates the ability of scientists outside NIH to apply for federal grants to obtain aborted baby parts (brains, hearts, livers, kidneys, and eyes) for conducting experiments without having their plans reviewed by an Ethics Advisory Board. Biden has eliminated this board.
The board, created on December 23, 2019, was designed to “advise, consult with, and make recommendations to the Secretary of HHS regarding ethics involving human fetal tissue.” The board met only once and rejected 13 of 14 project applications.
There won’t be such rejections any longer. The NIH said it would not establish another ethics advisory board “because the HHS Secretary has determined there are no new ethical issues that require special review.”
More Revelations on Federal Funding of Horrific Experiments.
A new video from the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) reveals that the University of Pittsburg is a major hub for the trafficking of and experimentation on aborted baby organs and parts.
The report links funding for the university’s operation to a large grant from Dr. Anthony Fauci’s NIAID (National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease) office at the NIH.
“The University of Pittsburg is a hub for some of the most barbaric experiments carried out on late-term aborted human infants—experiments funded by the United States government,” the report says. “At the same time, the university sponsors the local Planned Parenthood abortion business in what looks like an illegal quid-pro-quo for fetal body parts.”
The video features a demonstration “…for harvesting the freshest, most pristine livers from five-month-old aborted babies in order to isolate massive numbers of stem cells for experimental transplantation into adults.”
The premature baby, aborted alive via “labor induction,” can be seen under surgical drapes with the umbilical cord off to one side as the baby is cut open to harvest the liver.
The university scientist who developed the procedure received nearly $3 million from the NIH.
The Bible says God gives those who reject Him over to “depraved” minds. Is there any more disgusting example than this?
This evil will only stop if pro-life supporters become better informed and demand an end to it. Please encourage people you know to sign up for GRTL alerts and newsletter. In addition to contacting your Congressional representatives, contact your state representatives and urge them to get involved.
