A Bad Batch of Cookies

Say No to Those Girl Scout CookiesMarch 2018 – Article 3:

It’s that time of year when you can expect sweet-faced girls wearing green sashes to be at your door selling cookies to support the Girl Scouts.

Seems innocent enough, right? After all, you think you’re helping these girls grow into healthy and productive women by buying Girl Scout cookies.

What you may not know is that a sizeable portion of the $800 million they raise will be used to support abortion, ensuring that millions of pre-born girls here and around the world will never have a chance at life.

The funds will also be used to support sex education programs that expose innocent young girls to ideas about life that are clearly unhealthy.

That’s because the Girl Scouts partner with both Planned Parenthood Federation of America, the nation’s largest abortion provider, and the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF).

Girl Scouts USA belongs to the World Association of Girl Guides and Scouts (WAGGGS) and sends that international organization an annual membership fee of nearly $2 million.

IPPF’s “Exclaim!” publication states: “…young people understand that they are entitled to sexual pleasure and how to experience different forms of sexual pleasure is important for their health and well-being.”

WAGGGS is also closely associated with the UN’s Population Fund and its agenda, which includes graphic sexual education materials for young children, free access to contraceptives, abortion for minors; and protection for their “right to privacy” to hide their sexual activities, pregnancies and abortions.

So much for the idea that Girl Scouts has the best interest of young girls in mind.

“Pro-life supporters are encouraged not to give in to their sentimental instincts,” said GRTL President Ricardo Davis. “We must stand for life and respectfully decline making a donation.”
