Before coming to Christ, Brian lived an “experiential” life. He spent a decade serving in the United States Navy, working in intelligence, and traveling the world. By his own account, it was a life marked by sin and spiritual emptiness, absent of the truth of the gospel. “The more I pursued my own desires,” he shared, “the more pointless it all became.”
